Prescott Get-A-Way

This year for our anniversary we headed up to Prescott, AZ for a little get a way. It was absolutely gorgeous up there! It definitely made us miss Utah though. It was so green, and we saw real trees, which don't really exist down here in the Phoenix area. We stayed at the Prescott Resort, which had an amazing view! We had fun walking around the city, enjoying the art festival, and horseback riding. We had a great time just being us, away from our many jobs.

3 Years Down!

Today is our three year anniversary! It's been a pretty eventful three years! We've moved 7 times, Had a number of new jobs, Got our baby (Zoey Puppy), and made a ton of amazing friends. Hopefully this next year brings less change in the sense of moving and jobs, and more change in the baby department!

Fourth of July

This year for the Fourth my parents, as well as Ryan and Kimi were able to come down to Arizona. We had a ton of fun. We swam, and swam some more. That all you can do when its 115 degrees! It was quite different from our traditional Utah fourth with the early morning parade and the Sandy city fireworks. We were able to find some fire works in Chandler. This picture of my mom with baby Atlee was too cute to not post. We love when family is able to come visit. Happy Fourth of July!

Scott's 29th Birthday

I'm a little late, as usual, but Scott turned 29 on June 22nd. We had a wonderful day! We spent the day at the lake with Kurt, Liz, and the kids, and Scott's mom was able to be here. Then Kurt and Liz were kind enough to have a pool party for Scottie later that night. We have wonderful friends down here in AZ. Happy Birthday Babe!

our story

Jetti was working at Rafaels when she first served Scott's parents. They hit it off instantly, and so his mom decided to ask if Jetti had a boy friend. Jetti replied, "Sort of, he's on his mission right now, but I am dating other guys." As soon as that was said Scott's mom whipped out photos of her single boys. The first time Scott and Jetti actually saw each other was when Jetti served the entire Andrewsen family. This was for Scott's parents birthdays in October. Over the next few months Jetti and Scott occasionally worked together at the restaurant when Scott picked up some shifts. One night when they were working together in late January, Scott decided that they were going to hang out that night after work. Jetti informed Scott that she already had plans with some of her girl friends. Scott was persistent, played that they'd already agreed on plans and that she was breaking them, and even went as far as calling the girls to cancel the other plans. That didn't work. The girls showed up to the restaurant as it was closing, as planned. Scott headed home, and Jetti and her friends couldn't think of anything to do. So they too were just going to head home. As Jetti was driving home, she decided to take Scott up on his offer. She called back to the restaurant and got Scott's phone number from the manager. She called him, and she and the girls went and hung out at with him and his brother. They set up an official date for the next week, and after that they were inseparable.
